You should have seen the looks on people's faces...

For the 24th of July our ward did a float in the Cedar City Parade. Maren and I rode on the float and the rest of the family helped pass out candy. It was really funny to be in the float and watch people as they tried to read and process our sign which reads: A New Pioneer Face Born Every 8.8 Days, Cross Hollow Ward doing their part to populate Cedar City.

Hard to believe...yes. But the week Maren was born, four other women in our ward also had their babies. That happened again less than 6 months later (five babies born in one week). So when you add all the others in between...that equals a lot of babies. We have 3 nurseries and 3 sunbeam classes. I think the number was close to 200 kids under the age of 12 in our ward at last count. Welcome to Utah. However in all the wards I've lived in here, I don't think one has equaled the craziness that is our birth rate. Maybe we should adopt a rabbit as a mascot....

Our new ward is up there with you guys. Lots of new babies every month. We have 3 nurseries and HAD 3 sunbeam classes, but with some of the families moving the 3 sunbeam classes became 2 and the one huge CTR 4 class became two CTR 4 classes. We got switched from teaching a sunbeam class to teaching a CTR4 class when it changed
