She really does love books. She gets really excited when you pull one out to read with her. She also can say mama, dada and hi. I think mama and hi she says with intent and understanding. I think she's still in the process of connecting "dad" with Dad. Oh and she can sign "more".
I have to pick a new pediatrician and am not happy about it. Ours moved away. I am trying to decide between staying with the current practice he was with or moving to a family practice doctor I've been seeing. It's to the point now I have to schedule her 9 month exam. (((Sigh))). I hate making decisions. I mostly want a doctor that cares and will listen to me. I want someone who is more interested in helping my kids be healthy verses just treating the symptoms. But I don't have time to think about it and where can you actually find that information anyway? Most parents are happy with who they have, but for no particular reason.
Anyway, back to Maren....
I love this picture because you can kind of see the scrunchy thing she does with her nose. She does it all the time, and can show you different expressions by varying details slightly. She does it when she's really happy or excited, but also when she wants something or if she's about to cry. She scrunches up her nose and then breathes in and out of her nose really fast. It's hard to describe. I know it sounds like I'm talking about a bull or something, but for some reason it still melts my heart every time!

Who was your pediatrician?
I went to Premier Pediatrics, and our main dr. was Miller (I think that was her last name). She was fine, but sometimes I wasn't happy with her.
I prefer family practice doctors anyway. I say do that. :)
Hi Kristy, I almost feel like I should know you. I live in Cedar, I'm friends with Lara, and I know people in Logan (I'm from there), Orem (I lived there for four years), and Hawaii.
Anyway, there is a new physician's assistant at Premier Pediatrics, named Mark, and he really is amazing. I have been taking my infant to him and I am SO impressed. Good luck with who you decide!
